Colony Lane Circle of Lights Holiday display

Rochester New York Christmas Holiday Light Display

The Last Weekend.
This year sure did go by fast! Thanks to all of you we had a record setting year for donations once again! We still have one more weekend for the box so feel free to drop off any goods that you can and enjoy the lights with all the snow. We have added a few new songs for the New Year from Katie Perry and Justin Bieber and of course a New Year's Classic.

Thank you and Happy New Year!!!

A special shout out goes to Baker's street bakery for suppling the bags for the luminaries
on Christmas Eve

A special shout out goes to Mess Fireworks for helping us with the Sky Lanterns on Christmas Eve

A special Thanks goes to Deb and all the friends from Kids out and about.com for help in spreading the word about our Circle.

A special Thanks also goes out to The City Newspaper who came out and did a article about the Colony Circle of LIghts.

This year promises to be one that will bring lots of Christmas cheer to the Circle. There are many new light displays including a 20 foot tree that will dance to the music and a huge fan with over 3000 lights that will bop to the beat of the music.  We have added around 10,000 more lights and some cool effects that should be something to see. We have a very special guest this year. Along with Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Grinch and some elves, ELMO will be joining us this year. Make sure to stop by on Fridays and Saturdays to say"HI!" to Santa and all his helpers, who will be visiting from 6:00 to 8:30.

We will be taking pictures and posting them to this website so you can save them to your PC, for free. All we ask is that if you can please drop a canned food donation off in the donation box. The lights will be on everyday from 5-10 (after Thanksgiving) and when driving around the circle tune your radio to 91.9fm to listen to the music. We have programed several Christmas songs, along with some of today's pop hits.

Once again we will be taking donations for the Rush-Henrietta Area Food Terminal. Thanks to all of you, last year was a record year. We crushed all the previous years we have been doing this. With more people in need this year, we really would appreciate your help once again. Any non-perishable food items, paper items, & pet supplies are needed this year more then ever. Our donation box will be out starting on Thanksgiving and will remain out until January 1st.

One of the new displays will be a heart made of lights. This was built in memory of Greta Lindboom, our young neighbor, who passed away last year. The heart represents all our friends and family that our no longer with us, but who remain with us in our hearts.

This year's donations will be made in tribute to Lisa Fraser. Lisa was a lifetime resident of Henrietta, RIT educator, wife, mom, daughter and AMAZING friend. Sadly on July 10 of this year, Lisa lost her battle with brain cancer. She is survived by her husband, children, parents, brothers and beloved pets. Lisa loved to come and see the lights every year and we will miss her very much. I, personally, will miss hearing "MR FLYNN!!!!!!!!  This is just crazy!"

On December 24th, we will once again light 200 luminaries around the circle and at 8pm,we will be launching sky lanterns as well. We do this to remember Greta and Lisa, as well as our family who have passed. We will include a tribute this year to our military.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Fridays and Saturdays starting on the November 30th from 6 to 8:30.
*One note on parking. Feel free to park in our driveways. Please don't park in the circle due to all the traffic. You can also park down on Cape Code Way and just walk up.

Merry Christmas
